We take the collection and safekeeping of your personal information very
seriously. In order for you to use the League Builder registration system we
must collect personally identifiable information. We will request personally
identifiable information when anyone creates an account with League Builder,
and when a person signs up for a specific event or league. All the information
we collect is through both passive and active means. We actively collect
information when you provide identifiable information through the completion of
account forms and registration forms. We also collect non-personal information
passively through the use of Cookies. For an explanation of cookies, see
What is a Cookie? below.
We consider personally identifiable information to include, but not limited to,
the following: first and last name, e-mail address, street address, phone
number, gender, and date of birth, medical emergency information. In some
cases, it may be necessary to collect social security number and or driver’s
license number. Please see “How Your
Information is Used” for further clarification.
We will not sell information to any company, third party or person outside
League Builder, Inc. without your permission. League Builder does not sell
information collected by cookies or use the information for commerce related
purposes. We will use your personal information only for the purposes for which
it was provided unless receiving appropriate permission.
However, we may disclose personal information collected from you as required by
law, for example to a court order or subpoena or if we feel there might be
safety or security issues with that particular user.
How Your Information is
Used
The League Builder account set-up information we require consists of user name,
address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, emergency contact names and phone
numbers, guardian name and school district. This information will be provided
only to the leagues or organizations for which you register through League
Builder. It will only be released to the leagues, and the organizations for
which you authorize the release. More specific information will be necessary
about the individual at the time of registration and is required for
participation in the league or event. Once again, this information is only
provided at your request by virtue of registering for an event. The information
you are supplying is no different than the information requested on a paper
registration form for that particular organization. Please note that different
leagues may require different information for registration purposes. Although
League Builder, Inc. maintains all your information we only supply the
information that is required by a specific league to that league.
In the cases where adults are registering as coach, referee, umpire, or
volunteer in any way with a league or event where there will be interaction
with children, the social security number and or driver’s license number may be
required by the league to perform the necessary background checks as required
by law. In these cases, the information will be provided to the league that, in
turn, has the right to perform the necessary background checks as required by
law.
How We Use E-mail Addresses
Whenever we request your e-mail address, we tell you if the request is optional
or mandatory. Every time we prompt for an e-mail address, we give you the
opportunity to decide whether or not you want to receive e-mail promotions from
League Builder. The following are some examples of how we use the e-mail
addresses we collect:
To confirm receipt
of an online order
To e-mail an online
newsletter
To send e-mail
announcements and promotions
To answer customer
service, product, and general inquiries
To notify you about
updates to the site
If you have elected to receive e-mail announcements and promotions and wish at
any time to no longer receive such information, send an e-mail to
info@leaguebuilder.com. You will receive confirmation that your e-mail
address has been removed from our announcement list. Please remember that
removal requests are individual e-mail address specific. And while we will do
our best to implement your preference change as quickly as possible, you may
continue to receive promotional e-mails briefly after making your opt-out
request.

Your child's privacy is important to us. We are committed to safeguarding
